I believe my last post was in november.. about thanksgiving break...

it's now the 18th of Feb..... sigh.. this blog is SOOOOOOOOOOO dead....

people wonder why i don't blog since i'm like possibly the most free person in UIUC..

I really don't understand how i am so free and other people are like not sleeping just trying to finish homework.. it's not like i don't finish my homework...

I also don't see the need to double post everything since i throw all my pics in fb anyway..

I guess this post will be a bunch of words.........

Here's what happened over the last 4 months........ in chronological order.

1)did epicly bad for my fall 2009 finals... so bad it's not even funny....

2)Spent winter break in Boston, New York and Chicago (yes i was in 3 major cities in US in 3 weeks)...

3)went skiing in Boston.

4)Injured myself skiing in Boston.. sprained my ankle that was previously fractured so i couldn't walk at all.....

5)Took a plane from Boston back to Illinois in crutches... (HELL I TELL YOU.)

6)Started class in the spring 2010 semester...

7)Had tonsillitis.. for those of you who don't know what that is.. that is when ur tonsils gets inflamed till the size of like pingpong balls and it turns white and gives u fever and headache and... ahhh.. read this...

not cool man i tell you.

8)BECAUSE i was sick for that one week.. i couldn't play pool, so my standing in the 9 ball ladder dropped.. and the ladder ended b4 i could get better.... i ended up as 3rd on the ladder =(

9)BUT because i was still top 6, represented my uni to play pool in regionals held in Indiana-Bloomington. (pics on fb)..

10)Only had a week to practice b4 regionals due to infested tonsils...

11)Went to regionals... and KICKED ASS!!!! =D (1st good thing about this year)

12)Got 2nd place in regionals, qualified for nationals =DDDDDD

13)Came back and classes were normal again.. wrote a poem about zombies for rhetoric...

14)Chinese new year eve.. went over to a friend's place for dinner.. she cooked everything and was like OMFGWTH awesome... there was like.. Hainan chicken rice.. fried ~~prawns~~ shrimp.. the black fatt choi that looks like effing hair.. asam laksa fish.. ALOT OF AWESOME FOOD ahh =(

15)After that dinner.. drank (underage drinking ftw), played truth or dare.. watched certain few ppl get high... came up with FANTASTIC dares... (thank you alyssa LOL)

16)Next day was chinese new year/valentines.. had a date.. went to buffalo wild wings because she wanted to try and neither of us have been there...

17)Wrote a poem, gave her roses, played a song on piano for her.. only to find out that her heart is with another guy =( owell i tried..

18)Same day, MaSA held a chinese new year dinner in the Union.. which me and my date were like an hour late.. =.= missed the food because the cleared out most of the stuff before we arrived...

19)Same night, in the dinner, sang karaoke, and i spent most of the evening walking around performing card tricks to random people in the ballroom.. Kinda was like the in-house magician for the night =)

20)Came back from dinner with MaSA, Gambled with some friends in the dorm and won 31.20...

21)Yesterday, gambled with a friend in pool, and now I have a break-jump cue (FINALLY) =DDDD

22)Today is the 18th of feb.. birthday of my longtime best friend lim xiao yu.. shoutout to her although i know she'll NEVER EVER EVER read this here.. =(

23)Going to watch WWE with Calvyn in chicago tomorrow and he's coming over to my uni for the weekend.. OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT CALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! =DDDDD

I guess that's about all that happened in the last 4 months... boring, eh?

Food for Thought: Why would girls rather be with a person far away whom has a reputation for being a not-so-nice guy when there's a perfectly nice guy right in front of them?

MAHJONG!!! LOLOL

I feel so happy.. i'm spreading the mahjong virus.. SO much so that I may actually be starting a mahjong club next semester together with some friends.. best part is.. out of all my latest students.. most of them are like.. of diff races.. the people i play with now range from thai to italian.. LOL...

Examples of some hands i achieved since i got here..

In cantonese style mahjong...

"dai sam yuin" or "3 great scholars" or "3 dragons"

Pure suit ping wu..
Apparently with the cantonese rules there are extra points for small small stuff that i didn't know about in normal 4 player mahjong

This hand was worth 17 fan..

Basically....
All bamboo (pure suit) - 7 fan
All chi - 1 fan
Two flowers that were mine - 2 fan
One whole flower set - 1 fan
Self draw(zi mo) - 1 fan
Single tile wait (dan diu) - 1 fan
一条龙(1-9 of same suit) - 4 fan

Total ownage.. till today i'm known as the guy who did the 17 fan ping wu LOL

As if that wasn't enough, i thought the people here the 3 player malaysian version of mahjong.. with the jokers and just the dot suit.... and i got this hand lol..

Total pwnage dai sei hei =)) "4 great happiness" lol..

OMGOMGOMGOMG today i was just walking around aimlessly.. then i saw this dog fair thingi.. to raise funds for some animal shelter... it was in an open area.. and people had to pay like 5 bucks to pet the dogs and hug and cuddle and stuff.. and 10 bucks to take a pic with it.. So i was like just looking around... i noticed that nobody really checked... SO i just walked in and started playing with the dogs.. (talk about typical malaysian) HAHAHA...

Ok on another note... i ate my 1st ever steam fish here in some chinese restaurant...

I swear.... it tasted like.... OMFG... i duno wat it tastes like also... they didn't clean the fish properly.. the scales were like half still on the fish.. it has the SUPER fishy taste.. i couldn't even tear the head apart and clean it like how i used to because it stunk so bad T_T.. it's like.. a mix of.. ok let's not go there... GAH...

AND THIS THING!!! OMG I TELL YOU... apparently.. "bubble tea".. so ok... i believe.. there isn't any milk at all in this.. this is HAAGEN DAAZ strawberry ice cream blended with water and add pearls... i think i'll be rich opening a franchise of the bubble tea store back in sunway mentari here.. =DD lol...

Ahhh.... i miss AUTHENTIC chinese food... i'm sick of "sweet and sour chicken" being chicken nuggest fried in sweet and sour sauce... i'm sick of "char siew pao" being some PATHETIC excuse for a pau.. i'm sick of.. pathetic attempts at asian food... please.. just go to asia and learn something THEN come back and cook.. i had "shrimp chow mein" for dinner just now and it was the worst noodle i've put in my mouth in my life.. it was CHEWY, like.. hard and slightly crunchy.. too bad i didn't have my cam with me that time.. GAH...

OK... stop complaining... bad for feng shui.... tomorrow is friday the 13th... dowan to take any risks...

I'm gonna be one of those typical ppl who blogs about what they did today.. =))

Was walking around again.. this time down some street that i didn't walk the other day while taking pics...

Beautiful, aren't they? I can't wait till EVERYTHING turns a shade of golden-yellow-brown-red... lol.. i'm sure it'll be so awesomeeeeee =))))

Anyway i continued walking.. then i saw ANOTHER SQUIRREL!!! THIS squirrel didn't freak out and run away when i came near.. so i took out my cam and stalked it for a while... =))

y'know.. i just realised that i actually give a slight grin b4 i shoot.. apparently.. a grin of confidence.. especially when i try for combo shots and other not-normal shots.. there's alwiz this grin on my face LOL...

SO.. i played pool for... hmm... 4 hours.. and i totally missed dinner.. LOL.. Due to the because, i went to buy (with cafe credits) something to eat for dinner.. and i found this..

CHICAGO DAY 2 LOLOLOL

SO.. time for PART 2 BABEYS!!! =D lololol..

So woke up the next day.. felt kinda crappy from all the meat and alcohol.. seriously.. i felt like i was having a hangover, but i didn't feel anything before this.. not even tipsy.. =.= so anyway.. I packed my stuff while my cuz went to rent a car.. i was so headaching (yeah i know awesome word lol) that i forgot 2 things that i left there.. so i SUPPOSE it's either they'll mail it to me, or i'll have to go up to toronto to get it from them..

Speaking of which i SHOULD be going there for thanksgiving.. =D so ANYWAY... while they were driving around looking for a petrol station and getting to the place we're supposed to have our breakfast/lunch.. brunch.. whatever.. LOL.. i slept.. and when i woke up.. i felt perfectly normal and i was STARVING.. so much for weird random suddenly hangovers LOL.. so we reached the place.. guess what was for brunch....

Then, on the way home.. we passed some wind turbines.. and yes, being the malaysian jakun that i am.. i took some pics of it cos i've never seen them b4 LOL..

Then it was time for dinner.. by the time i got back to Champaign.. it was like dinner time.. so my aunt and cuz was like thinking what to eat.. and i realised that i haven't eaten KFC since i got here.. THUS...

they have BAKED BEANSSSSS... which isn't half bad actually... LOL.

They have "biscuits".. which are.. like scones.. =.=

You know, they have so many extra things here like baked beans.. GRILLED chicken.. but they dun have my FAVOURITE CHEESY MELTS!! T_T.. cheesy wedges also dun have.. heck.. i dun think they have ANYTHING cheese in KFC in US.. omg... depressing.. the Coleslaw also tasted weird.. ironically.. MALAYSIA one soooooooooooo much better.. sigh... T_T

Seriously lo.. the ONLY thing good about KFC in US.. is that they ONLY serve dark meat.. that's the drumstick, wing and thigh.. they don't serve breast meat 1.. which is awesome.. but still.. FURTHERMORE.. their ketchup is like.. one packet one packet 1.. and MALAYSIA has BOTTLES for u to spam.. so depressing.. it's like.. need to tear and squeeze... I TOT US PPL EAT MORE 1.. =.= GAH...

No kidding.. i honestly think that KFC in malaysia is WAYYYY better... =(

So then after that they sent me back to my dorm.. oh but before that i took them for a tour around the area.. =).. then i got back to my dorm and unpacked everything.. ANDDDD took pics of alllll the stuff that i bought... remember that box i told u guys ibought earlier???

SO!! i left for chicago early saturday morning.. reached there like 12.30 something.. den went to the hotel to wait for my Aunt and Cousin.. ok so TECHNICALLY they aren't my aunt and cousin.. or are they.. nvm i have a complicated large family.. but I consider them aunt and cousin anyway =D haha..

So As i stepped out of the hotel.. (Oh btw, we stayed at the 4 points by Sheraton Hotel, i totally forgot to take a pic of the hotel i was staying in cos i was too busy taking pics of everything else LOL...).. I saw these around me..

Then we went for lunch.. the place we went was called the Grand Lux Cafe.. sounds grand huh.. well yeah.. it looked grand too.. check it out...

So technically it was a meat buffet.. with a salad bar.. for the ppl who are gonna gluttonize themselves (like us) to not feel so guilty.. so......

THE MEAT!!! ok so basically how this works is that.. u have a small card.. one side red one side green.. the green means KEEP IT COMING.. and the red means to stop.. if it is green.. waiters holding giant skewers of meat will come up and ask if u want it.. and the'll cut off a slice for u and put it onto ur place..

I'm not kidding about the giant skewers...

He wasn't kidding.. it was POTENT SWEET.. it's like drinking nectar.. so good =D

It wasn't a big glass.. but it was equally potent/filling..

Due to the awesome dinner.. i crashed on my bed and woke up with a slight hangover.. i duno how that happened.. headache and all.. MUST be cos TOOOO much meat.. and that tequila, and wine, and brazillian rum, and ice wine and...... BUT thing is, i didn't feel tipsy AT ALL.. like NO FEEL.. not kidding.. i looked and felt perfectly fine after dinner... but got after effects the next day...

Dun tell me i too pro until i dun need to get drunk, dun even need to get tipsy to get hangover omg.. T_T EITHER that or because i haven't drank in such a long while since i got here that my skillztatkillz gone missing somewhere d.. T_T.. nuuuuuuuu...

Ok, in this post, again i'm sorry there isn't gonna be any pics.. cos apparently i was too week to take random pics of the room and because i have a roomate now.. yes.. a roomate in quarantine.. how does THAT work.. and ok.. this WHOLLLEEEE post is gonna be all words AGAIN.. i really duno why u ppl are so lazy to read lol.. words are nais =).. oh and not only is this post gonna be all words, it's gonna be me releasing the inner child within me and ranting about everything i wanna rant about =)

1st of all.. why why why do i have to fall sick now.. ok so i get to skip my midterm.. but i'd rather not.. now my other exams INCLUDING my finals have a higher percentage because my missed midterm is spread out among the others.. furthermore..

There is a pool tournament in michigan this friday and we're supposed to leave by 11am friday morning.. thing is.. I'M IN EFFING QUARANTINE TILL SATURDAY.. doc said only way i can get out of quarantine is if i can show that i dun have any fever or any symptoms of the flu for a full 24 hours.. means i have to get better by TOMORROW.. show them that i'm ok for 24 hours (thursday) then only would i be able to go on friday...

I REALLY WANNA GO MICHIGAN OMGGGGG.. it's like.. me and this other guy (both of us 1st year students) came in this semester and instantly made names for ourselves in pool.. then the pool club seniors were wondering whether to send one team or two teams to michigan.. before that, they had to pick between me and this other guy for the last spot in the 8 players, and they made us play a match for it.. i won like 6-0 (lol sorry alex if u ever read this).. SEE HOW MUCH I WANNA GO T_T.. and JUST when they confirmed that they are sending two teams, i end up in quarantine.. FMLLLLLL!!!!!!!

ANOTHER thing about the weekend.. MaSA is going up to Chicago for another raya celebration with the MSD (malaysian student department) people and other ppl.. on saturday.. i told them i wouldn't be able to make it cos i'm going to michigan.. Now if i end up not going to michigan, i'm gonna miss the chicago trip also.. ARRGHBABALLHLAHLBALHBLAHBLABH....

TO make matters worse.. yuin yi just smsed me saying that she and pui yin are gonna have this mooncake celebration thingi (with lanterns) this friday night.. and she said that she needs a headcount cos the seniors want to have dinner with us so need to make reservation at restaurant.. HOW CAN I CONFIRM ANYTHING NOWWWW?!?!?! T_T it's like.. ok.. two things that can possibly happen..

1)I go to michigan, play pool like no tomorrow.. happy drew.

2)I miss the michigan trip cos i can't recover quick enough, miss the chicago trip cos i expected myself to be in michigan and told them no, AND miss the mooncake/lantern festival dinner/party because i'm effing still stuck in quarantine.. not so happy drew. T_T

And thing is.. i can already see the 2nd one coming true.. and it allll boils down to WHYYYY DO I EFFFFING HAVE TO GET SICK NAOOOOO?!?!?!?!?

Okay fine... I admit i have been neglecting my blog.. and i have a perfectly good excuse for it..

you know what ok i don't.. Just that i couldn't find enough time to sit in front of the com long enough to write out a whole post.. either somebody will call me for mahjong (YES I FOUND MAHJONG KAKI HERE WOOOTZZZZZZ, and i'll talk more about that later..) or pool.. or like.. something else.. i got ppl 10pm can randomly call me "hey drew u wanna play pool?" how to say no leh? lol...

So let's talk about mahjong.. Oh before that... I KNOW YOU LAZY ASS PEOPLE DON'T LIKE READING A HUGE BUNCH OF WORDS.. but DEAL WITH IT.. lolololol.. this whole post is gonna be ONE BIG CHUNK of words.. just cos i haven't been taking pics recently.. nothing nice to take pics of... =\

Oh okay.. mahjong.. I went for this DDR tournament.. and i got 3rd place.. (Hon lin if u ever read this... IN YOUR FACEEE!!!! LOLOLOLOL).. so then they were like just sitting around talking.. den i overheard somebody say mahjong.. so i was like "i'm sorry for evesdropping.. but did i hear somebody say mahjong?" he was like yeah.. we play mahjong about 2-3 times a week... and i was like.. *HAAAAAALELLUJAHHH~~".. but then they told me they played japanese mahjong.. so i was like.. no big.. i'll just wikipedia up the rules.. which i did.. and went to play with them and pwned the angmoh LOL..

Ok.. now about the title.. YES I MAY BE DIAGNOSED WITH H1N1... and YES for ALLLLLL u people out there i KNOW i can't stay away from hospitals but this time it isn't my fault k.. there isn't no transportation or objects involved in my admittance to hospital LOL.... Yesterday night i was like all feverish.. and i took a bath and panadol and it didn't go down.. went up tim.. i think i hit like 39.7 celcius wtf... thing is.. I have to wait till 8am for the hospital to open.. so i was like suffering in bed with a severe headache and all till 8am....

Then i dragged my sorry ass.. yes.. i WALKED to the hospital.. and got diagnosed and blah blah blah... den they were like.. ok.. u definitely have the flu.. we're gonna take a blood test and a culture of ur throat to determine whether it is swine flu.. i was like.. orhhhhhh.. i was too damn weak to say or think anything.. so i got another bunch of needles stuck into my left arm.. (that makes 4 needles in 3 days jabbed into my left arm.. nice)..

They then told me that i have to quarantined so they arranged with my dorm advisor to like find me a single room where i can be locked up for 5 days.. so now at this point in time i'm in a room, that actually looks like a hotel room.. with tv and computer and kitchen and fridge with stuff that i can take anytime LOL.. and erm.. other random nonsense =D OH AND MY OWN BATHROOM WOOH... (i think i should get sick more often..) got sofa all.. super comfortable this room.. hahaha..

Thing is.. i can't even walk from one end of the room to another cos my headache will kill me.. it's like.. imagine knives impaling ur skull with the tempo of a hardcore techno beat.. yeah that's about it.. and like.. the fever.. and the body aches.. i just wanna lie in bed the whole effing day.. sigh...

Hey one thing's for sure, be proud of me, i actually went to see a doctor and didn't say "ah it's nothing i'll recover soon..." =) (although i know i will)... hahahahaha... hrmm.. maybe it's the quarantine and the king treatment that made me see the doc.. OH and i have a week off from classes.. =D.. and the best thing is.. IT'S MIDTERM WEEK LOL... apparently they'll inform my lecturers that i'm out and not possible to come to class.. and it'll all be settled.. oh joy~ haha...

I tried studying earlier.. but once i opened my book i felt like a samurai sword stabbing my brain lol.. so that phailed.. guess i'll study when i feel better.. but then again.. WTH am i gonna do locked up in a room for a week?!?!?!?!? It's bad enough that i'm crazy hyperactive.. now what.. it's like... i duno.. a chipmunk on estacy locked up in a tiny cage.. (do NOT ask me where i thought of that from) lol...

Oh cool somebody just came to deliver my dinner.. looks like i'm having two drumsticks, a side of some kinda beef and some mashed potatoes.. hmm.. looks so depressing =\.. owell guess that's dinner/lunch for the next one week... i really really hope i get better soon.. this is killing me.. and it's not the physical impairment that is killing me.. it's the ************* (alyssa u should know what this is supposed to be LOL) boredom.. T_T...

So curiosity got the best of me and i took one..

NOT GOOD OKAY... it's 2am here and I'M STILL WIDE AWAKE wtf...... talk about effective... i took that when i was like tired and sleepy.. i SWEAR... when i took that, LITERALLY my eyes became more open and clearer... NO KIDDING... so since i'm wide awake.. i shall blog..=)

I went for football in the afternoon.. then i went for volleyball at night LOL.. healthy leh.. i didn't even take dinner worried that i'll screw up my appendix.. and since medical bill isn't cheap, i shall TRY HARD to prevent myself from ending up like this........AGAIN.. =.=

I know.. despite being in the hospital bed, AND not able to clench my fingers together, i'm STILL a camwhore =)

SO yeah... in volleyball.. went to the ARC.. WHICH stands for.... Activities and Recreation Center.. i THINK... So........ ahh just see the pics =.=

SOOOOooooo... after i came back from volleyball... my roomate told me that there was this dance party out in one of the lounges of my dorm.. so we went to check it out... apprently.. it was held by the USSGA... any idea what that stands for? =)

It stands for Urbana(that's the town i'm in) south straight-gay alliance.. LOL.. ever been in a room filled with guys dancing with their hands around other guys? i SWEAR it's an eye opener... I walked over to the snack counter (it was free.. free stuff = good LOL).. and took a cupcake and a drink.. THIS drink...

that i SWEARRRRR it tastes EXACTLLYYYYYY like cocacola.. =.= while i was eating that cupcake.. some guy came up to me and asked if i wanna dance.. i was like "yeah sure after i'm done with this..".. AS SOON as i was done i left the room.. hey it's scary k.. T_T.. but i got like some freebies from them.. some squishy toy, a wristband.. some snacks.. that drink... yeah.. =)

Went to Penn station (some stall that i can buy food from in my dorm).. and bought something to eat cos i was hungry cos i didn't eat dinner.. so i was like looking around what to buy.. and i bought.......

A SALAD!!!! be proud of me people... hahaha... that was my dinner =D lol.. i feel so proud of myself lol.. i feel so healthy wheee =D hahaha...

Updates, nothing much since i last updated, OH.. this sem would be the 1st time i'm studying from a e-book.. course on natural disasters.. did my 1st online assignment on it today.. hope that went well.. if my eyesight increases, IT'S BECAUSE I'M STUDYING ONLINE OKAY.. =D

09/09/09.. not exactly a very nice day for me.. was late to class cos i misplaced my key, then i found it at the place it was supposed to be just under a sheet of paper.. oh the irritation... gah..

Hrm.. questions to ask urself.. what would u do, when u leave a place that ur familiar with into foreign territory.. and u have friends back home, and new friends in that new place.. ESPECIALLY those who are leaving, or knows somebody who's leaving..

Will you lose the friends u have back home?

Will your old friends desert you?

Will you be too caught up with keeping friends back home that you can't make new friends?

Do you think you will be forgotten?

Do you think you've made enough an impact in the lives of your friends back home that they won't forget you?

Do you think you can be accepted in the new place?

CJ thought me a valuable lesson this morning.. He said that we shouldn't classify friends as "old friends, new friends, subang friends, US friends".. friends are FRIENDS.. no difference between them.. They should have equal priority, an equal place in ur heart.. I find that very true, especially when priority seems to be an issue for some people..

Just in case you want my answers to those questions i asked.........

I KNOW i won't lose my friends back home,

I KNOW my friends back home won't desert me.

I will balance both my new friends AND my old ones..

I HOPE i won't be forgetten, i HOPE that i've made an impact on people's lives...

Last but not least, i wouldn't know if i'll be accepted, but that wouldn't stop me from trying. =)

Alright guys, since i've been bombarding you people with words for the last 3-4 posts.. i'm gonna give all ur eyes a break and give u some pics to look at.. these pics were all taking in this place near my dorm called PAR fields.. I've circled out the place in the map below.. See the red thingi? =)

So yeah.. i got bored, so i decided to go there to take some pics.. see in the map looks quite small rite... WRONG.. it's like... woah.. =.=... there are 3 footBALL fields, 2 rugby fields, one small-goal-football-field, 4 baseball courts.... so yeah.. just see the pics.... lol..

ORAIT!!! TIME FOAR UPDAET!!!!

1st of all, i'm sorry i couldn't find time to update this place.. been sooooo caught up ~~with work~~ playing stupid random stuff and learning MORE random stuff to add to my already mega random list of random useless skills LOL......

Let's see what's new since the last time i updated... 1st of all.. I wanna say Rest In Peace to my beloved grandmother (mom's mom), who passed away at 8.40am (malaysian time) on the 2nd of september.. May God bless her soul and take good care of her in heaven above....

2nd of all.. Online mahjong IS NOT GOOD... been playing so much that i went from just start to level 5 in 3 days =.= like wth man... lucky i managed to finish all my hw that was due today LOL.. ok.. i can't seen to remember what i've done the last week.. so i shall write this post like a diary day by day =D....

starting from.......

MERDEKA!!!! 30th of august.. that was erm... last sunday =D In the morning.. MaSA had this photoshoot thingi.. they apparently wanted to make some hari raya cards to send back to malaysia and like put into the local papers and all.. so okay.. like HOW WOULD I HAVE anything MALAY-ish to wear..... so i wore like semi formal lo... den some dude was like.. here *throws*.. next thing i knew i had a songkok in my hand..

So having long hair and all.. ok lo.. look abit more malaysian.. i wore the songkok, and my fringe was covering one side of my eye.. they were like.. FUIYO MELAYU JAY CHOW SIALLLL... lolol.. i looked in a mirror and i thought i looked not bad LOL.. so ok.. camwhored with that.. (too bad i didn't use my camera... otherwise u people would nosebleed like now..)

Then at night we had some merdeka celebration.. seriously.. i THANK GOD i was the one in charge of playing the piano... they asked whether i could play negaraku (oh was i supposed to capitalize that? LOL).. on piano.. and i could.. DON'T ASK ME WHY I CAN PLAY THAT ON PIANO OK... sheesh... den i wanted to sing and play.... and i was like.. "negaraku... tanah tumpahnya darahku.... raja hidup... errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... bersatu dan maju??... ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrr..... den i stoned.. but i continued playing the piano.. walao... I FORGOT THE LYRICS TO NEGARAKU WEIH LOLOL...

Then we ate alot of malaysian food... there was this dish of sambal.. that was FANTASTICALLY AWESOME... SUPER DAMN CHUN TASTE OMGWTF.... and also SUPER DAMN BLARDEE WTF HOT... the whole room was like sweating after that hahahaha... i took so much that i shat(is there even a past tense for shit.. shitted?) sambal LOL... 4 times in the middle of the night T_T... couldn't sleep omggg...

OH and speaking of shit.. i'm not sure whether it's just the fact that i'm staying in a dorm, or americans don't wash their anuses(plural for anus? LOL).. after they shit.. there's like no hose next to the toilet bowl... freaking annoying lo.. everytime i wanna shit i have to bath also since i'm gonna get my whole body wet in the shower... gah...

Did i mention that the people here are SCARED of me when i go to the pool place? there's this rumour going around to watch out for this "player with a purple cue".. my friend told me that and i was like.. oh really? how does he look like?... and my friend was like.. "no idea man.. all i heard was that he has a purple cue... people say he's DAMN good.. and alwiz challenging ppl loser pay..."... i just smiled.. LOL....

I think my stats lecturer doesn't like me cos i'm chinese and he's chinse and he's been here WAY LONGER than i have and i speak better english than him.. hmmm.. i was asking him a question.. and he was like.. ehhhh yoo doo dis... then yoo doo dat... i was like.. urhhhh.. okay.......... but i figured how to do it eventually ahaha =D..

Okay i don't remember what i did on monday tuesday and wednesday that was of any significance... usual days lo... wake up.. come on9 chat with msian ppl.. go class.. finish class.. play pool.. play piano... meet new ppl... come back to room.. see who's on9.. check fb.. study and read some notes and stuff... play mahjong... sleep... boring ain't it? lol... YESTERDAY however was slighty more interesting.......

I started learning the waltz and quickstep =D.. well since i'm here in the US i might as well learn some new stuff right.. haha.. SO i decided to pick up some dances.. =).. the most awesome thing isn't the dancing with hot girls.. the awesome thing is that there were people from like hong kong, china, denmark, france.. and others there.. oh all i said were girls btw.. lolol.. so u know.. we have to like change partners.. and have to like introduce ourselves and all lo... so 1st i danced with this girl from taiwan... So i was like.. hi.. den she was like hi.. i asked..

and they were like stunned la... i was just smiling all the way.... and just when i thought things can't get better.... my next partner...... (before that, forgive the lack of the accents and the squiggly lines that are supposed to be around the french.. i duno how to type that with laptop LOL)

she "no, i'm from france..."
me "*HEHEHEHE*.. parlez vous français?" (u seak french?)

i found it so hilarious... hahaha.. and i learnt the basic steps for waltz and quickstep.. yay.. learning most stuff wheeee... =D... THATTtttt was about it for yesterday.... i guess...

THEN TODAY!!!... i rushed back from class JUST to go play football.. oh sorry.. SOCCER.. with this new bunch of guys i met who are crazy ~~foot~~ SOCCER... =) so since we had like 10 players only.. we used the small goal, but played on field la.. i tell u... the field is AWESOME... it's like.. NOTHING i've ever seen in malaysia... i'll take pics and put it up soon.. i didn't think of bringing my cam to ~~football~~ GAH soccer... lol..

GUESS WHAT... (calvyn u should be proud of me).. i was playing keeper.. i OFFICALLY did a total clean sheet.. AND.. i was the top scorer for the whole game.. with 8 goals.. =D KEEPER OKAY... play play... APPARENTLY they aren't used to keeping rushing up HAHAHA.. and i'd prolly have to thank cal and mav for teaching me how to kick a decent scoring kick =D.. then again, i'll thank the whole EX for everything football.. sigh.. SOCCER.. related.. (damn this is gonna take some getting used to..) THANKS GUYS!!!!

Man i wish u guys were here.. i think if we have the whole 11.. ok.. 16 plus subs.. players here.. can dapao the state team lo... =\ i watched them play... like no comments... =\.. here too much football (the american one with the pads and the helmet), basketball and baseball d... T_T.. damn i miss u guys.. sobz...

I miss futsal with u ppl... futsal here ain't fun man... ball can bounce off the back wall den ppl can volley into goal 1.. sighz.. well at least i starting to get reputation as ~~gay~~ godlike goalkeeper here d =) teeheehee.. again.. Oh today in class my lecturer asked this question, what do u see urself doing in the future? what do u enjoy.. now, don't answer that, i want u to ask a bunch of ur closest friends.. what do THEY see u doing in the future.. so i'm asking anybody who reads this.. ESPECIALLY EX members.. PLEASE don't give me some stupid spaztic answer like mahjong grand champion or like underwear model please =.=.. seriously.. what do u guys see me doing in the future?

On a lighter note.. I HAVE NO CLASS ON MONDAY!! woohoo~~ it's labor day.. sad thing is even the busses are on holiday.. means i have to walk to get to wherever i wanna get to.. i'm hoping i can plan something with some friends here, maybe drive up to Chicago or something..... see how lo~.. what else to say ar... hrmm.. well.. my brain is jammed at this point in time... OH TIME... LOL.. another thing i heard some speaker say... Mixed Emotions..

Okay.. i'm having mixed emotions now... and no, i'm not homesick again.. lol

Went for pool tournament this morning.. the rules were that the tournament was double elimination.. means u have to lose two times to get eliminated.. so basically, if u lose once, u still get to play with all the people who lost once until u become the "winner of all the losers".. then u play the "winner of all the winners".. and u have to win that person TWICE.. because he hasn't lost....

SO it went like this.. i won my 1st game after a bit of motivation.. it was 2-2.. and i won 3-2.. The guys back in AC would call this "TAKING FULL ADVANTAGE".. lol.. or just giving false hope LOL..

After that was food time.. my opponent was rushing me.. so i had to like.. stuff down my pizza.. then go play that match with him.. and guess what, i lost 3-0 LOLOL.. oh the humiliation.... and people were surprised.. lol.. and so was I lol...

SERIOUSLY.. i duno wat came over me.. i was like missing EVERYTHING.. simple simple shot also kenot do LOL.. play worse than huiyin LOLOL.. SERIOUSLY.. i was like ZONED out.. man.. 3-0 sial.. and that threw me into the "loser" group... one more loss and i'm out.. and to get back into the competition, i had to win EVERY game after that...

WHICH I DID!! HAHAHA.. after that, i won match after match after match... 3-0, 3-0, 3-1, 3-1.. in total i played like 7 games.. all won.. then guess what, i had to play the guy that beat me in my 2nd round cos some dude beat him, and threw him into the "loser" part.. and so i did.. THIS time, i beat him 3-1.. like totally in his face LOLOLOL... Oh sweet sweet revenge... lol.. well then i played another guy, won 3-0.. and became the winner of all the losers.. (that sounds rather sad don't u think).. and that makes 9 rounds played.. But on the bright side.. being the "winner of all losers", confirmed me 2nd place in the whole tournament =)

9 games.. JUST to get to play with the winner of the winners.. the guy that hasn't lost.. who has only played like 4 games =.= because he won all.. SO two of us left in the tournament.. and thing is, he has a game in hand.. cos he hasn't lost yet.. for me to win.. i have to beat him TWICE in race to 3...

I beat him 3-1 the 1st round.. and then it was time for the FINALS... like.. if i win this, i'm the champion... and the BEST PART... it was down to 2-2.. means it was sudden death.. whoever won that rack won........

Yes, i know u people know that i lost okay.. let me rant about it a while 1st... =.= sheesh..

i missed 3 shots that was SUPPOSED to be easy... i think the stress finally ate into me.. 11 games i played ok.. i was tired and worn out.. i overcut one simple shot, and i gave him a free ball when he had one ball left.. the fantasticness... sigh...

Plus i won 50USD... THAT'S 175 BUCKS FOR U PPL BACK IN MALAYSIA HAH... lololol

besides.. just to make myself happier.. i already have a pool cue, what would i do with another one? i'd prefer the cash =) hahahaha..... (plus mine is more expensive and looks nicer anyway LOLOL)

FUTSAL IN ILLINOIS!!!

I'm happy i got my futsal. period.

But i'm sad it's not with EX... and i'm also sad that i won't be playing with EX for a very very very very very long time... and i'm sad the the futsal court isn't even a futsal court =.= let me explain..

This is the "court".. it's a multi purpose court, and well.. yeah...

So like.. yeah.. just look at the pics larh...

Not exactly the coolest thing to play on... ONLY thing good (or bad) about it is, the WHOLE place is like air con-ed... i play keeper there i'll never ever ever get tired.. LOL...

Problem is... i actually chao gan (cramp) over there cos it's cold and all... and knowing me, i ran up to score.. XD... so run half way i felt my muscle cramp and i went like "OMGOMG CHAO GAN!!!!"... people around me were like "whaaaaa..." and 2 seconds later, when it finally hit me, i was like "I MEANT... CRAMPPPPPP!!!!!!".. and they were like "OH OH OH....." sigh.. the malaysian blood LOL...

Met a new bunch of ppl today.. because it was the IBC (illinois (i almost wrote inti LOL) billards club) 1st meeting... sooo.. yeah.. met some more random people hahaha.. WAIT.. i CAN remember their names.... errrr... amy, rina, jay, clinton or something like that, andddd... errrr... kevin... andddddd... OMG I FORGOT HER NAME LOL... shitshitshit waittttt... sophie? i know i met a sophie here somewhere... oh crud.... T_T

Seriously... meeting one BIG BUNCH of people bunch after bunch is NOT easy kay... all their names.. can kill you.. T_T... oh i met a stephanie in accounts class... she thought i was from US.. it's either i can REALLY imitate a US accent, or... well.. it actually comes naturally d... LOL...

Seriously.. she sounded so surprised that malaysians speak english.. hrm... oh and the new ppl i met at pool.. 2 were from beijing, 1 from hong kong, one from guang dong, one from some other province, and one from macao.. or was it macau, however the hell u spell that larhhh LOL... so they were like saying, some can speak mandarin, kenot speak canton.. the hong kong one and the guang dong one mandarin not that good, but cantonese can speak.... then I was like.. I CAN SPEAK BOTH!! HAHAHAHA.... and they were like stunned... lol...

Suddenly i'm proud to be malaysian.. mix of EVERYTHING LOLOLOL..

Alright, i know i haven't updated in a while, and i have a perfectly good explanation for that....

Ok fine i don't have a perfectly good explanation for that lol.. i've kinda been playing sooooo much pool... and piano.... and meeting ppl and going for lunch and dinner with them... and freaking ppl out (yes i'm talking to you alina) with card tricks =D

Basically.. here's my usual schedulle.. Wake up about 7 something 8, come online to chat with the peeps in malaysia cos it'll be evening over there.. go to class at 10, yes, i have class EVERYDAY.. ok.. everyWEEKday, at 10.. then during free time i'll go and play pool in the union recreation room.... then go for whatever afternoon classes i have, most of which will end by either 3 or 4, then play pool till about 5 something 6, come back to the dorm, play piano till about 7 something 8, then look through notes for classes to come =) hardworking eh?..

I just bought all my books today.. effing 500+ USD sial.. that's like.. RM1.75k.. damn.. DO U KNOW HOW MANY HOURS OF POOL I CAN PLAY WITH THAT KINDA MONEY?!?!? sigh.. nvm nvm.. put to good use.. i'll get my 4.0 rawr.. =)

Went for dinner with some MaSA members and new friends.. FYI, MaSA = Malaysian Students Association... hahaha.. i didn't think i'd use BM at all over here.. hahaha.. but well.. yeah.. so met Victor (whom, i might add, would fit PERFECTLY well in EX).. alina, saffiyah, intan.. andddddd a few others whose names elude me.. lol i'm sowie...

Oh before that, Victor and Alina didn't believe that i could play the piano.. so i showed them some of the youtube vids i posted.. and since most of you who have watched my videos know that i don't show my face in the videos, they don't believe that it is me.. SOOOO they dragged me to a GRAND.. YES... AN EFFING GRAND PIANO... in the lounge of the Illini Union (that's the main big big building here), to play.. i was like... OMGGGGG A GRAND PIANOOOOOO.... just so u know, i've never really played one before (except once in avanda's house but that was close to midnight so i couldn't play loud T_T).. so i was like.. getting an adrenaline rush just sitting there.. victor opened up the piano so that we could see the strings in it.. and told me to play the most complicated piece i know to see the hammers move... (do u even call those things hammers LOL)..

SO.. i played one of the songs from secret by Jay Chow.. the one where he played and traveled back in time LOLOL.. after i finished they were like stunned.. i duno why i like the look on their faces LOLOL... SOMEHOW it just seems normal that a big size guy like me wouldn't be delicate and sensitive enough to play the piano sob sob..

So after that we went for dinner... i've never felt so ripped off in my life... other people order pasta they get BIG serving... i order i get some MINI shit like some kids meal wtf... sigh.. stupid people... AnYhOw... after dinner, Alina didn't believe that i could do card tricks... quote her after that "IS THERE ANYTHING THAT U CAN'T DO?!?!?) lol.. after i was done with all the tricks.. she was CERTAIN that i had black magic LOLOL.. she was literally freaked out by me k... i did the trick i did to kelly(the korean one) in KLIA b4 i left... i did it to alina.. and she LITERALLY SCREAMMMMMMED... no wait... SHRIEKEDDDD, at a crossroad at the traffic lights.. and EVERYBODY within a mile radius looked at us.. she threw the bag on the floor and shrieked LOLOL....

Other than thattttt.. i've been playing pool like crazy.. been on a winning spree... hahaa... my 1st tournament is an 8 ball tournament this saturday.. wish me luck guys... =)

OH GUESS WHAT... I'M PLAYING FUTSAL LATER!!! WOOHOOO!!!! time to show keeper skillz... =D but but but... i left my awesomely smelly gloves in malaysia.. (for good reason.. i wouldn't want my WHOLE luggage to stink LOL).. so guess i'm playing without gloves later.. nvm.. still can still can.. but 2 weeks never play d.. karat T_T sob sob...

So TO SUM IT UP, just so u ppl don't die of boredom reading this... I joined the billards club(that's american for pool club).. the illini poker club.. MaSA(i explined earlier d).. erm.. that's the MAIN ones.. oh wait and a DDR club.. YES... THEY HAVE A DDR CLUB ISN'T THAT AWESOMEEEEE HAHAHAHAHAHA

Other random clubs i joined was the japanese society (No u sick minded freaks, not for the girls or the hentai =.=) it was because i saw (IN BOLD)... FREE SUSHI NIGHT.. lolol.. hey, that's life man.. sushi is like the best food in the world hahahaa.... and i also joined some asian-american something something society... i wasn't that interested at 1st.. but this girl came up to me and started explaining... talk talk talk talk talk..... then i was looking at their posters and stuff.. i saw MAHJONG NIGHT... i was INSTANTLY interested to join... HAHAHAHA... and the girl was still talking... LOL... seriously... when i was writing my name down on the paper, she was STILL talking... my mouth came out "ahh.. mm... ohhh.." but inside my head was like.....

STFU BIATCH I JUST WANT THE MAHJONG LULULULULS....

hrmmm.. that's about it i guess... OH i didn't join the soccer club... because... they said "tryouts are tmr, we're gonna run from one end of campus to the other, the 1st 30 will be in.."..

i was like... GFY... =)

I REALLY need a phone.. for convinience purposes T_T... sigh..

Finally a decent day that wasn't emofying =D

Went to walmart again with my roomate and friends.. yes, the chinese speaking bunch of people.. DID i mention that they are like the EX of taiwan? like.. they have stupid nicknames for their friends, have stupid ideas to do stupid things, are DAMN DAMN DAMN lame.... and like... well.. basically.. EX larh.. lol.. put it this way, CJ joining EX is like me joining them, except the language is opposite LOL...

supposed to buy stuff for winter, but ended up just buying one sweatshirt, cos couldn't find anything LOL... came back about 5 something.. then i went to play piano again, this time, in a more open space, so i'm less emo (or more attention seeking) LOL.. met two new ppl.. Ruth and John.. =D..

Had a very long and interesting convo with Ruth, very nice and interesting person she is.. she asked what i like to do, i said i like to entertain people.. she said "well yeah i can see from the awesome piano playing, but what else you do?".. and i said.........

and that went on for about an hour, she actually screamed.. like.. as bad as Kelly.. the korean one.. ahahaha.. ok larh.. best way to make friends here, mindf*ck them with card tricks HAHAHAHA...

ahhhhh.. my evening went well, i'm happy =) tomorrow is quad day.. THAT is like ECA(extra curricular activity) day, where all the clubs will have booths and all and we're supposed to just walk around and register and blah =D let's see what i have in mind to register for....

Just when i thought i was fine.. i was so happy i found out that the place i stay has like 3 pianos, a pool table, and other cool stuff.. one of the pianos was in a basement, that is like close to sound-proof from the outside.. which would mean i could bang on it as hard as i wanted, screamed like mad in that room and nobody could hear me.. fantastic..

So i thought i'd go play the piano.. being the piano loving person that i am =).. little did i know that it would send a whole shot of emo and nostalgia right through my heart, i actually started crying halfway through playing...

i've never played piano so emotionally in my life.. i went through all the songs that i could possibly remember how to play without sheet music.. songs like marrage d'amore and souvinir d'enfant from richard clayderman... my famous self modified canon in C/D, my piano cover of linkin park's new divide... fur elise, claudine.. all with full passion.. and then, i played tong hua... felt abit emo d.. then i played peng you.. tears started flowing d..... then since i already was like that, i remembered an advice from a friend of mine, "if u wanna cry, go all out.. don't hold it back"..

So i played my heart out, sang my heart out, and cried my heart out.. in a room in a basement where nobody can hear me.. and when i played finished.. i carried on crying, to my heart's content.. inside the room was SO silent, after i finished, it was TOTAL silence.. like COMPLETE silence.. it was eerie, but i appreciated the silence, it helps u to listen to the sound of silence.. i'm not kidding.. it was refreshing..

Then after that, i played a hymn, my dad's favourite song, Sweet Bye and Bye.. The very same song that was sung for my grandma's(dad's mom) funeral.. a random thought hit me that i'm never going to see my parents again.. I cried again, finished playing that piece, and went into prayer..

My friend was right, i did feel refreshed after the whole thing.. crying everything out DOES help u get better, ironically.. and by God's will, I will pull through this.. BUT WELL, God doesn't help ppl who don't help themselves, does He? SO I went to the dining hall and randomly made MORE new friends HAH.. =D

I met Christine earlier this afternoon, together with Mike and Jon, Madeline and Mari.. Christine is from HongKong, been here for 2 years, and speaks AWESOME english (despite being honkie XD), Mike and Jon were both from suburbs of Chicago, Madeline's from New York, Mari's from springfield..

Followed Christine to dinner, and met Kevin, Nate, Amber, Katie, and Ruth... Kevin's from Alabama, he has a freaking cool southern accent.. lol.. Nate's from some small town in Illinois, Amber and Katie are roomates, from urbana and some suburb respectively.. Ruth... ok i don't remember, i'm sorry... information overload k... T_T lol...

These people would be the 1st few people that i don't have to communicate in chinese with that i met since i got here.. =D Since i came here, met my roomate and his gang of friends, all from Taiwan, few guys and girls from few parts of China.. and err.. yeah... OH yeah, met erm... watz her name omg.. AH.. Cordelia, from Singapore =)

So refreshing to speak english at dinner today.. the past few days was chinese after chinese after chinese after chinese... gahhhh... lol.. not that i'm complaining, but i DID come to the US, not CHINA.. lol....

Well that's about the latest with me here.. i've registered for classes, classes starting next monday.. 24th.. =).. can't wait.. teehee...
